Experience

As part of a 12-week internship at "Caught in a Web", I contributed to the development of modern, responsive websites tailored to small businesses and creatives. My main project was building a personal portfolio site showcasing my skills and IT career path. I gained hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and version control (Git), and participated in design review meetings and usability testing sessions. I also learned about client interaction, wireframing, and website accessibility standards.

During a short-term internship at TechNova Solutions, I worked on the backend development of internal web tools using Node.js and Express. I collaborated with a small team to optimize existing APIs and contributed to documentation. This experience strengthened my knowledge of RESTful architecture and introduced me to Agile development methodologies and daily stand-ups.

I designed and developed a personal portfolio website to demonstrate my skills, projects, and future career aspirations in IT. This project allowed me to implement responsive design principles, build a multi-page navigation system, and incorporate branding using a custom color palette and the Google Fonts "Prompt" typeface. It also included image optimization, contact forms, and accessible design practices.
